Kennedy - the game changer

First half we needed some 'spark' as the play was quite drab at times.

Second half was different altogether. Gunnarson going off and Kennedy coming on was a great move by the coaching staff (not sure who's call - Slade or Trollope!).

Far more attacking intent, happy to carry the ball. Gunnarson always seems to pass backwards, but having Whitts and Ralls (decent game from him today) sitting in meant Kennedy could plough forward.

Add Doyle into the mix and we just seemed to have more flair in the play

Kennedy did well today as did Ralls.

It seems that when changes are forced on the midfield by injury or suspension, we actually look better.

However, I have absolutely no doubt that Whittingham and Gunarrsson will start against Reading, despite all the evidence that tends to suggest that we play better without the two of them in central midfield.

I thought it was odd he didn't start, Doyle also helped, hopefully slade will give him a chance now.
