Even if we use the Slade term 'transition' for the second half of the season, the standard of football since he took over has nose-dived more than anyone could ever of imagined. The club is clearly not bothered by this, too busy number-crunching to realise they need to entertain supporters.
I think it's unfair personally to keep branding fans 'glory-hunters' 'fair-weather fans' Some fans are just not as blinkered in my view.
A sensible approach from the club would of been to reduce expectations and admission costs. However, they want to cost-cut without re-evaluating the impact that has on the paying public, that is a dangerous game. Basically knock a couple of quid off and i'll go along with what the club is doing as it needs to be done.
I don't think the club appreciates the financial implications of watching Cardiff week-in week-out. The cost cutting curve should be done together in unity by club and fans.

Ok I'm on st Mary street. And I'm assuming as I get close to stadium that will change but this has actually saddened me.
It feels like in the home of by beloved bluebirds, the club I defend daily against mocking and ridicule from ignorant arrogant Chelsea Liverpool Man U n arsenal fans ( 99% off who have never been to a game) are being abandoned by their own here. I feel sorry for you city fans here it has to be saddening to see all the foreign shirt in your city.
Sorry for rant probably a bit off topic but had to get it off my chest

I am getting a bit tired of the 'we'll be better off without the plastics' etc. The club won't be better off, they need to fill that stadium and they're making a right pigs ear of it!!

So in order to address this we have to live within our means, which translates into a smaller squad earning more reasonable and realistic wages. Inevitably this will be a time of transition and results will be affected.
Fans were happy to turn up in numbers when we were throwing money around and competing at the top of the championship and a brief visit to the PL. Now within a matter of months thousands of fans are turning their backs on the Club when we are needed the most. Excuse after excuse. Football can be cyclical yet we just give up, leading to less revenue, less quality on the pitch, poorer results. Stay away fans will then sit back in their houses on a Saturday afternoon and say to themselves "see I was right not to go"' without any thought that they are part of the reason why.
The hardcore apart, fans get the Club they deserve.

Performances was always going to drop (what did you expect) This season was always going to be difficult when it became apparent that tan was going down route of osterity to balance books! Many clubs have had to do this when relegated and lots have never recovered, you as fans are not giving club any chance of getting it right.
Personally i think next season will be a good one as i see bigger picture than the postage stamp most on here see!

I admire your optimism, but weren't you still convinced we would make the play offs just a month or so back. Personally, I don't believe we have a chance of being in the promotion battle next season. I don't disagree with you concerning long term sustainability, but surely the dire football we have witnessed so far this season does not have to be a condition for reducing our debts. There are other teams in this division with less talented players than we have, but are still able to play entertaining and winning football.
