If the figures ares to be believed we've sold approx 1,000 with a couple of weeks to go. This would mark a significant drop in revenue to the Club which means they have to react. Players will have to be sold / loaned out, which may explain why Connolly has gone. This then leads to more whinging and more excuses not to renew. And so the vicious circle continues.
How fans expect us to keep a competitive squad together when they aren't prepared to support the Club is beyond me. Or should Tan simply continue to plough in millions only to be reviled by many?
Our fans need a huge realty check.

I've been going since 1967 so I'm no good time Charlie. Yet apathy has set in this season which I think is understandable. A couple of days ago on the very same day I received a renewal form saying we're all in this together, a first team player is farmed out and I'm told I may lose 15 hrs a week at work. Is it worth 40 quid a month? What would you do?

Hard core can mean different things - some people come away from these games convinced we're a good team.
