If Malky was still here, we would still be competing in the Premiership and we wouldn't have to be making cut backs selling our best players. Anyone arguing otherwise has either been manipulated by Tan, or doesn't understand football. Malky wouldn't have taken us down. We only had Liverpool and Chelsea left to play at home after he got sacked and I believe Malky would have got a minimum of the 7 points extra required during those remaining home games to keep us up.

We were slowly sinking under him! It is about opinion nothing at all to do with tan or knowledge of football why should it be? And in mine and many others opinion we was going down under malky!

I disagree with your view regarding the points to keep us up ..... do the maths
When Malky got sacked we had 17 points from 18 games , by your calculation the 7 points extra required during the 10 remaining home games to keep us up would have amounted to 24 points ..... nowhere near enough , we got relegated in bottom position on 30 points ..... as it turned out we would have required 37 points to stay up , so Malky would have needed 20 more points to keep us up without any more money to spend in the January transfer window
So we were always going down under Malky just on team performance ......
I liked Malky and thought he done well for us , he did what was required to get us up despite the uninspiring football on show , but he messed up with a big premiership budget , and the dodgy £10 million(total) Cornelius transfer as well as the off field revelations added to his downfall
We were in freefall and certain for relegation at the time of his sacking after the 3-0 home defeat to Southampton on Boxing day , our next 3 away games were Arsenal , Man City , Man Utd ...... a tall order for any new manager coming in to stop us from dropping into the relegation places

The fans' reaction at Liverpool told a different story. Rightly or wrongly, Malky getting sacked was the downfall of this club.

Do all the stats you want we were above relagation when he was here any estimation of points after that is pure speculation, what we know for a fact is that we were in safety when he was still here with a transfer window that was squandered when given to ole.

Exactly. Some people love to twist stories when we all know how it actually happened.
