' VINCENT TAN TO RAISE £40 MILLION FROM CITY NEXT SEASON ? '

I believe Tan would like to claw back at least £40 million before next season starts, thats why Slade will be here no matter what the fans think about him.

Slade has done what Tan has asked so far.

Think about it, Slade on wages approx£2,000 plus a week, told to sell, sell, sell and keep us up in the Championship, Slade has achieved both.

Now he will have to do the same for next season, not many managers would do that, top managers would be asking for money and going for promotion, they would tell Tan where to go.

' So £40 million? '

£19 million from parachute payments.

Plus sales of players like Manga,Macheda,Le Fondre,Fabio, Marshall etc.

Can you name any that we would get £millions for? ?

Just think if MM still there in whatever Division he will come cherry picking.

If you are still debating if you are going to renew or not I would wait until Sept 1st to see what the squad is like.

People are not going to be happy stumping hundreds to watch what will in effect be Division 1 players.

You have been warned :ayatollah:

Not really appealing to our fans basically will be in a relegation scrap next year

So much for wanting to get to the prem sell all our best players and keep a league one manager in charge who is he kidding

Manga, Marshall, Morrison and Turner are worth the most money in my opinion but to get the most they would have to be sold to Premier League clubs so that, in my opinion, means Manga & Marshall. If we are lucky selling those 2 would see us well on the way to raising what VT wants.

Morrison, Turner, Fabio, Connolly, Fabio, Whittingham, Gunnarson, Noone, Adeyemi, Le Fondre, Macheda, Mason, Pilkington, Harris and Doyle are all worth decent fees but where are the buyers ? With FFP rules in place the days of big fees in the Championship are gone so maybe we would'nt get as much as we would hope for them.

Norwich offered 2million for Noone, they should of had a helicopter on stand-by with a parachute jump instructor onboard to make the deadline

And this is why the club will be lucky to sell 10000 season tickets for next season. For the 1st time in 50 years none of my family are renewing.

Malky might pay that for them or he might even buy Macheda for 7.5 million. No one else in their right mind would pay anywhere near 2.2 million for Noone or 1.8 million for Gunnarrson. 500k for Connolly is also wishful thinking.

Manga and Marshall our only players worth 2 million plus.

What about Man Utd? Look where that got them.

They have a history of wasting £millions on over rated players.
£28m on Veron.
£25m? on Fellani
£15m on Zaha
and their best (worst) £67m on Di Maria
Wasn't it £12m on some street kid as well?

Probably missed something here? £19m parachute payments that leaves another £21m in money for players we sell? mmmmm dream on i think! :o :laughing6:

this is the reality of life under vincent tan now.

he is a vindictive man and is starting to asset strip and bleed us dry to ensure he doesn't lose too much money. for us to progress further he needs to sell up to someone with the clubs interests at heart.

dont forget wages.

But i reckon we coup re-coup an easy 10m in selling players. Though i personally would keep connolly.

Also, though the payment from the prem was 16m?

This is just guess work no obe knows apart from tan himself whats going to be done next year ,we might have a good crack at promotion. The way we are progressing recently a couple of good solid additions and we could be a very good team

If he was vindictive he could get rid of us. He is merely making us self sustainable as a club which we all want surely?

Not many businesses go on record to say they are not going to give the same value as before, but promote there product to the customers at the same value

All speculation. Could be said its bullshit.
If true and we are just gonna sell players whatever happens why is craig noone still here and david marshall?

Anyway look at how well bournemouths low earners are doing, vincent tan is trying to make the club sufficient. Such a negative spin on this toward the owner its unbelievable coming from the same person who said while vincent tan is here we will always be red with a beermat badge and that tan wants out asap lol

This is a good way to encourage season ticket sales by speculating that Tan will pull £40mill out of the club (if he can).

I am not saying your wrong and I think that Tan will try and get as much money as he can from the club, but considering the amount of people who believe everything you say is from inside the club I don't think it is wise to put this information up as it will encourage people not to renew.

Just my opinion though.

Alot of fans agree that the wage bill has to come down and that other clubs have proved you can give the fans excitement on a cheaper player budget.

I have no confidence in Tan & Slade to deliver that
