already his natural instinct to bomb forward is being coached out of him. Does it make him a better player? Time will tell

Maybe its a case of adapting his forward instincts to benefit team? As you say time will tell hopefully now get run to end season see what he can do to benefit us going forward!

Agree he is great to watch at times.
Charges around like a headless chicken too much, and is prone to hurting himself the way he goes into challenges uncontrolled. Too injury prone to get a long run of games.
Always looks like a red card is about to happen for him.
But (and why I want him in the team) he looks like he cares and gets the fans going with his attitude.

It’s good to see the Brazilian back. He had played only 19 minutes Championship football in 2015 before given the nod to start at Brentford on Saturday. He stayed in against Bournemouth and the left-back can reflect on the two matches with satisfaction.
I love watching Fabio bomb on down the wing and he thrives on the challenge of running at defenders. The only weak area for Fabio has been his defensive work, but he’s working hard on that and the Bluebirds coaches and working to ensure he becomes a better all-round player.
