Prossession!

Fulham had 55% possession tonight against Leeds and had 27 shots, but still lost 3 nil. Maybe possession is as important as we all make out.

There's a possession obsession on this site.
High levels of keep ball usually relates to a team playing in their own half especially when the opponents are content to sit back, there's no danger its just frustrating. Cardiff are not comfortable doing this at home they get edgy because the crowd start getting restless. They try to move the ball quicker to the front players which often results in breakdown and opponents picking up more possession. Thats why vistors often get more favourable stats....however its time in the final third and speed of getting the ball into the box that get results. Against Bournemouth we matched them in the second half thats why we got a point or nearly three.
