Great week

Wed Mar 18, 2015 8:19 am

City have showed something that we haven't seen all season in this past week. Resilience, work ethic and a little bit of quality. Two superb performances against two sides that I think could find themselves in the prem next year. If we can play like this every week, there is no reason why Slade shouldn't stay.
He still has work to do to win me over, but this week has been a huge step to showing that these guys want to be at CCFC and are willing to graft for the fans and each other. If we play like we have this week, we can go on a run and finish in a respectable position. It's got a carry on against Birmingham, we have to build on this.
Onwards and upwards! :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :) :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

See, a lot of people said we played better in the second half. Defensively in both halves we were shit. We always ran back and didn't press Bournemouth until the last 20mins. 1 pass and they were by our box.

Don't be so negative, we have done brilliantly in the last two games.

Cardiff outplayed by a small seaside town on the south coast. I enjoyed the game purely for the result but this team/manager has no future together

I agree with that statement, but under the circumstances of THIS majorly disappointing season it was a good battling performance (second half at least) and result

To be honest,I don't think in either game our performances could be called superb. The result at Brentford was superb but that was down to Brentford's inability to break down 9 men. I thought we played quite well at times last night and could have pinched a win but also,I felt Bournemouth could have won aswell because they looked dangerous nearly every time they went forward. If they do get promoted, they'll struggle because defensively they were very poor at times.
