' Cardiff City player ratings v Bournemouth: Fabio and Bruno Manga impress as Bluebirds get hard-earned point '
The Bluebirds went behind early in the first half when Harry Arter's shot from 25 yards found its way into the back of the net.
For much of the first half, the Cherries were well in control and held on to the ball pretty well.
Cardiff City had their chances, but couldn't convert and they trailed at half time.
There were plenty of shots on goal throughout the match and Russell Slade's men found themselves on level terms midway through the second half.
Peter Whittingham's pinpoint corner found Bruno Manga, who nodded home to equalise for the hosts.
Our man Steve Tucker was in the stands at the Cardiff City Stadium, here's how he rated the players...
Simon Moore 5
Reasonably OK, but again a bit shaky at times. There was big controversy when his kick was charged down by Calum Wilson only for the referee to book the Bournemouth striker.
Matthew Connolly 6
Back in the side and kept very busy. The work-rate was excellent as usual, even if there was the odd moment of panic as the Cherries poured forward.
Bruno Manga 8 (Star man)
Again a stand-out showing from the centre-half. Big and strong defensively when he needed to be and his threat going forward was rewarded with the goal.
Sean Morrison 7
An under-stated performance from the centre-half who was put under a lot of pressure. Put his body on the line a few times as the Cherries went from distance.
Fabio 8
Back in the side and he was very good here. This was the Brazilian’s best performance in a while. He was all-action and broke up the Bournemouth attacks time and time again.
Matthew Kennedy 7
A solid, if unspectacular, showing. He kept swapping flanks with Noone and the level of service was fair, but not as dangerous as the Bluebirds might have liked.
Aron Gunnarsson 6
A couple of shots and some break-up play, but Cardiff again needed their skipper to be more involved in the thick of the action, particularly when the going gets tough.
Peter Whittingham 6
Again the odd flash of inspiration and some good set-piece delivery, especially from the corner that led to the goal, but the midfielder has gone a little off the boil.
Craig Noone 7
He has not been near the form he produced in the past, but this was one of the winger’s best showings in ages. Lively and tricky, his crossing was good too.
Alex Revell 6
The striker had a real go again and had some dangerous moments, but wasted a good chance in the first-half and, despite the goal last time out, is still finding his feet at Cardiff.
Kenwyne Jones 5
The top-scorer was back in the starting line-up, but he failed to make an impact for most of this. Put himself about, but not at his most effective for long stretches.

Revell - 6 ???
Worked his socks off and was better than a 6

I can't believe some of those ratings!

Really... Revell was awful. Ran around a lot but achieved absolutely nothing. Ralls would have been a far more effective addition, with Kenwyn up front on his own.

Revell worked his nuts off. He done more closing down in 10 mins than kenwyn did in 85. Would of preferred adeyemi for kenwyn and 5 in midfield or doyle up top with revell
