Cardiff City vs Bournemouth

Mon Mar 16, 2015 8:40 pm

Cardiff welcome Bournemouth the The CCS on the back of that brilliant 2-1 away win over Brentford at Griffin Park.

Home form has not been anything to shout about however, with no wins since Fulham and the return to blue. Despite being in most of the game against Carlton and Wolves, Russell Slade's side have gained no points from a possible six at home, which, in The Championship, is not good enough.

Cardiff will also be without Kadeem Harris and Kiko Macheda for the visit of Bournemouth, with both receiving their marching orders at Griffin Park. Harris will miss the next three games, while Macheda will only miss this game. Lee Peltier will be assessed in training today, with Joe Ralls on stand-by, having played well against Brentford.

Long term absentee Anthony Pilkington is still only taking part in light training, with Joe Mason having an outside chance of making the bench after his long-term injury. Dickagoi is also 2-3 weeks away from match fitness.

Bournemouth travel to Cardiff after tearing Blackpool apart at Goldsands, with a 4-0 win. Yann Kermogant missed that game with illness, and Harry Arter is in line for a return. They will be confident that they can get a result after the 5-3 win in the reverse fixture, and hoping they can challenge for the top spot.
