Bluebirds duo banned

Cardiff will be without two players through suspension when they host high-flying Bournemouth.
The Bluebirds, who lost 3-0 to the Cherries in south Wales in a Capital One Cup tie earlier this season, saw Fedirico Macheda pick up a second yellow in their 2-1 win at Brentford on Saturday after Kadeem Harris had earned a straight red.
Winger Harris will serve the first of his three-match ban while Macheda's one-game suspension means Kenwyne Jones or Eoin Doyle stepping into the side.
Russell Slade will assess defender Lee Peltier who limped out of that victory with just 12 minutes gone. Joe Ralls is standing by to replace the former Huddersfield man.
Bournemouth have Harry Arter available when they make the trip.
The midfielder served his one-match suspension as the Cherries ran out 4-0 winners over Blackpool on Saturday and he could step straight back into the starting line-up for Shaun MacDonald.
Eddie Howe will hope to call on Yann Kermorgant who missed that win having suffered with a sickness bug on Friday night. The striker will be monitored in the build up to kick-off.
Eunan O'Kane made a welcome return to the squad on Saturday after injury and he could be joined in the 18 by Dan Gosling who is building his match fitness after a spell on the sidelines.

Whilst these players are banned its nice to see a bit of bottle and a mean streak back in the side. We haven't had that for a long time. Even during Malky's time we only really had that really when Medel was up for it. We need a central midfielder in now that bosses games and is a bit dirty. Someone like Nolan would be good.
