You could argue Cardiff City were second best in all

Mon Mar 16, 2015 1:36 pm

You could argue Cardiff City were 2nd best in all 3 away wins this season, thats why I say there is no such thing as luck in football as it evens out over a season.
Will we win anymore away games?

Wigan away virtually out played for most of the game.

Rotherham away first 25 minutes all Rotherham, then City took control, but second half all Rotherham.

Brentford away at least 70% of the game Brentford had City back peddling.

GUESS WHAT? WE GOT 9 PTS FROM 9PTS :thumbright: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Don't put the ball in the net, you don't win

City have been clinical surprisingly, and Manga has brought steel back to the defence

Only problem I have is that Slade has still got that small club mentality that we don't set out to win from the off. I just want to see us go at clubs and give it a go, rather than just counter people and sit back all game. Works away, but at home it will not.

Slades been lucky in my opinion. All three away games could just as easily have ended in defeats.

You could argue Cardiff City were second best in all the games they've played under Russell Slade.

Can anyone name a single match under Slade where we've totally dominated the game?

Totally agree, I was there Saturday and couldn't quite understand. Apart from Gunnar the midfield was getting mauled and Brentford looked as though they could rip us apart. However, full credit for the fighting spirit. We may not have anything like the most talented team in the division but if we can harness that spirit we will be ok.
