I’m fed up with all the negativity around Russell Slade.

The evidence of Cardiff’s performance at Brentford shows the players believe in what Slade is doing. They gave everything for the cause at Griffin Park and came away with a win few thought was possible.

That’s three away wins on the bounce and there is clear progress.

I don’t know if Slade is the right manager for Cardiff City. That looked doubtful when he took charge and we won’t know the answer for a while yet.

But he has tackled huge issues, carved £12m off the wage bill as instructed by the club owner, which was a massive and difficult task in itself.

The least he deserves is for fans to give Slade and his team full backing over the remaining fixtures. City’s aren’t going up or down, they will finish mid-table. Yes, the football has been dire at times, but there was passion and fire in the City performance at Brentford.

It’s time to be positive between now and the end of the season.

I agree he and team (whichever 11 is chosen ) deserves full support from all fans for rest of the season and see what summer brings

You never know if we finish strong this season may be things will get a lot better for next season Russell slade is the manager at the moment so we got to support him and the team

And at the end of the season, if we REALLY want to have a decent attempt at promotion next season, Slade will have to be moved on.

Unfortunately, by then, the dreadful style of football we are playing will have driven many supporters and current season ticket holders away from the club.

Great battling performance yesterday but still no sign of any creative football.
