" Heroic City! "

Winning away to Brentford after going 1-0 down and finishing the game with 9 men. We would never have done that under Ole. I've said the past few weeks that Slade is turning it around and today is evidence of that. Backs to the wall defending to keep them out at the end displaying the courage, guts, passion and character we didn't previously have has given us 3 away wins on the bounce. I'm proud of our team today! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :bluescarf:

Fina-Fucking-ly I see some support for Slade, People are way too quick to jump on his backs, if he changes the team for a better player everyone hates on him, he cant do anything right in the eyes of some on here. Alot of people don't see how much he's done for us since coming!

Still not sure about Russell Slade, but fair do's that was a big win in the scheme of things, all credit to him for that. :ayatollah:

I'm no Slade fan but credit where credit's due, a good result today. Think I would prefer to wait and see where we finish at the end of the season before I judge if Slade is turning things around. We have a few difficult looking games coming up, and are just as likely to drop a few places as we are to continue climbing the table. I live in hope, but have little confidence in Slade being a manger who can take us to the next level.

Great win, no doubt. But I think most people would recognise a daylight robbery  Not claim any stones turned. Only drawback we are a game further from getting rith of this clown..

I think this will be your typical Slade game. Not much quality, not much possession but just work hard, grind down the opposition and make sure you put away any chances you get.

Doing some calculations comparing goals scored to actual shots we are about mid table. Teams with the best goals to shots ratios are Derby (14%), Watford (13.6%), Bournemouth (12.54%) and Norwich (12%). Middlesbrough surprisingly are only 9.9% (but have the best goals against record) whereas we are 9.49%. Doing the worst are Millwall (6.58%), Sheff Weds (6.66%), Wigan (7.3%) and Blackpool (7.32%). Sheff Weds are a surprise considering they are above us but they have the second best goals against record which explains that.
