he should stay. He is good enough for Madrid and will get through it. It does highlight the the gulf in technical ability when by far the best British player around looks clumsy at times playing possession football. He should stay to learn and get better, or welcome him back to the hussle and bussle of PL and be the star again.

A few games I've seen Madrid play lately he has definitely been below last season's standard. However he hasn't been the poorest player on the pitch or the most wasteful but as become the scapegoat amongst the fans largely due to the ego that is Ronaldo petulantly moaning when he doesn't get passed to.
He looks very short on confidence and I hope when he comes into the Welsh set up later this month and is away from the egos it will help him.
Shocking the way their fans can turn on player's but that's their way and he's got to get used to it.
