' Tan needs to feel welcomed '

Thu Mar 12, 2015 11:41 am

Taken from Carl's update :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
viewtopic.php?f=2&t=155961 :ayatollah:

It was reiterated that Vincent Tan "does not do failure" and he wants this club to succeed, the club want Tan to feel welcome at the stadium and hope that fans welcome him to make him feel wanted so Tan falls back in love with club, if that happens the hope of the staff is that Tan may do what it takes to push the club back to the Premier League.

what suggestions do we have to make Tan's walk around the pitch that extra special? IF we give him a welcome fit for an Emperor he will get us back to the PL :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

1) Immortalise him forever with a respectful banner that can be shown during the game on the 15th minute. Every minute represents £10mil the club owes to him
Image

2) Chinese masks worn by children at matches at all times.
Image

3) Autographs only on blue & Red paper with golden ink to pay homage to his values and beliefs

4) Vincent Tan completes 2 laps of the ground which will trump ex-owner Sam Hammam

5) Fans to stay behind after matches until the lights go off to represent how Vincent brought light into the club when there was once only darkness.

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Maybe just stop hurling insults at him...

That would probably do it.

he had a heros welcome against Wolves, haven't you heard the news? IF fans could group together and make his day that extra special, he will get us to the PL :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

And yet people are still slagging him off online and in the stadia... stopping that is the first step.

Well he should stay at home if he wanst to feel welcome, unless of course he interferes with their traditions and they don't want him either.
Did you see his tacky palace when they showed it on SKY?

He thinks money is everything, No class about the man, just a bullying dictator.

His money saved us from going under. Or have you conveniently forgotten. That is, of course if you were ever aware of this fact in the first place. Get real.

he is a hero, he saved us from administration....so now we owe him more money than the club can ever realistically make at the moment....he even seen that playing in blue was evil, malky's promotion bid and boring football, albeit successful was evil. he saved us, and has enlightend us all, we now play in blue after changing us to red with a beer mat dragon badge. now we play with ANOTHER new badge, half the fans against each other (like they should be) he has allowed us to be entertained by the opposition by allowing us to be managed by a complete and utter out of depth boss.

i will never applaud, thank or respect vincent tan, fans love him for turning us back blue....we should never of been red in the first place....people say his money got us promotion....well he spent money again this year, and we havent been promoted so no, money doesnt buy success, a good work ethic and manager does.

seeing as you were apparently born in 2004, I'll make some allowances. You'll no doubt grow up to be a fine young man.

Unfortunately it still seems too complicated for some around here... I honestly have no idea how...

He needs to feel welcome? .... Aw bless him, he's so precious.

If Tan had not invested, and the club gone through, they'd be in a better position.

Anyone know how all this debt is going to be paid off, one way or the other?

No idea, it's doubtful any fans know what Tan's intentions are for the club. Club record debts that are totally shocking. Building a new stand with the backdrop of out of control debts is beyond incompetent in my opinion

oh dear oh dear :laughing6: The club have dangled a carrot in front of the supporters, 'you behave yourselves and Tan will fall back in love with the club.' Basically I was taking the pi** Nukes!

This is going to be controversial because people would of lost there jobs entering Admin, but some do suggest it is easier to shape a business from a blank canvass. What happened at Rangers is extremely dodgy, to be in so much debt AFTER admin

I know the op is on a piss take but I couldn't give two hoots about the premier league and why would I welcome a man who shafted us then give it back for money reasons only, I can not respect people who have no respect to start with the trouble is people seen pound signs then now the moneys been cut back lets start blowing him off. Cringeworthy

See this is fine. It's not fans who are ignoring him or "not praising him" (I don't know any who ARE praising him...) but the first step is simply NOT shouting insults at him. it's not hard.

For some reason people seem to have a real issue with "not making somebody's day worse on purpose"

Exactly, he has absolutely no respect for the fans and that is proven by his actions. IF he wants to increase the debt for another push for a promotion, it's his prerogative.

Working on the club mind-set that special welcomes for Tan will give us another go at promotion, some might boo him to keep the club debt as it is :laughing6:

i know this thread is tongue in cheek but i'll say it anyway.

he had some neck to do a lap of honour for putting us back in blue. i shouted stick at him for his poor attitude towards the fans. as far as i'm concerned, he can stuff his welcome up his backside. boo him.

Re: ' Tan needs to feel welcomed '

Fri Mar 13, 2015 2:28 pm

The club should try to realise that the only reward the fans want is to be treated with respect. Enough is enough of dangling bait in front of supporters to influence attitudes towards Tan.

He can turn it round if he comes good on broken promises. Quite simple

No idea where you got being born in 2004 from, unless it's the 04 in my name. Which is not a birth year, it's a number I choose . But regardless it doesn't matter what year you where born in, it's plain to see tan is the worst thing that's happened to our club.

Saved us from going under, I love that line. So what? Looking back administration would have been a good option.
The clubs fan base has been killed off in the last few years, I doubt most will bother to return either.
