I saw them in the early 80's (not sure when, too old to remember the year ) when they played at Granny's which used to be above the old Prince of Wales porno cinema at the bottom of St Mary's Street.

They'd just started out and were in full "tea towel" clothing mode. Incredibly pompous and full of themselves as well as being shit.

I think they'd just released Chant No 1 or Musclebound - and like so many bands back then it was very much style over substance.

Enjoy the concert and hopefully three points on Saturday.

I heard they were in Porthcawl today for Steve Strange funerel RIP
