Those times are long gone. They'll never be back I'm afraid.

You couldn't have gone much in the 80's. I doubt there were many games with more than 500 on there. My overriding memory is of it being an empty plain concrete terrace for much of that time. Sure there was some great days in the 70's and maybe half a dozen stand out games in the 90's and up and until we moved. Your looking through rose tinted glasses, the grass was not always greener on the otherside.

The Grange End never seemed to have the same intensity once they took the roof away. Amazing atmosphere for the big games. I never liked terraces that weren't under cover.
