This for me and many other similar stories answers a lot why so many are not renewing their season tickets for Cardiff City next season.

I know him well and he has been very loyal for years,a very decent fan

I also witnessed stewards coming in and telling our fans not to sing or look at Charlton fans
I asked one of the main stewards why so heavy handed when there is no hint of trouble,reply " Orders from above"
I thought football was suppose to be about football and banter?
The Club do not help themselves,they actually have helped ruin any little atmosphere we had left.

At this current moment sales of season tickets for next year are at there lowest for many years.

As I sat amongst a row of empty seats on Saturday "watching the dictator stewards telling home fans not to stand sing or even face the away supporters " I have realised that this is not the club I started following in 81.Football is about being around mates,creating an atmosphere.the football itself is not the sole reason for going down the city.I don't feel part of this club anymore.The season can't finish quick enough.I won't be renewing next year as this has probably been the worst year of supporting the bluebirds I've had.The life has been sucked out of our club and the stewards down there are doing their best to completely kill off the atmosphere all together.!!!!!

Alyn Price I know of several youngsters who have been kicked out and interviewed by police for taunting the away fans and standing on the Ninian. We are always having fun with the stewards on Canton. We need to go back to the old days. Stick together and stop being soft. Everyone feels the same as you guys so lets do something bout it.

Alyn Price Believe me i am as negative and fed up as everyone else but i was under the impression it is our club. Not Tans not the players not the stewards. I was one of the fans told to face the pitch,we were having a bit of banter with Charlton i called him fatty and he picked his top and showed me his gut then we both gave thumbs up and had a laugh.Then the nobs moved in it was like being back in school.we did tell him where to go

I would say that for 10,000 of our so called fans.

I can not even think of renewing at present after 35 years first time ever - I used to get a buzz from renewing early - mainly chasing a cup ticket or guarantee my seat now no passion at ground football basic and everyone I know or speak to is really down all good saying yes renew but there must be better things to do than being told sit down face forward and shut up and watch division three football

The stewards are destroying the passion in the ground thats for sure,all of us have been going scince the 70,s and we can not ever remember it so bad

By the look of it, you can't blame the stewards for following orders. The fault lies with their bosses.

Most football grounds allow standing at times of excitement or tension and to admonish fans for facing the away fans is totally laughable. Have a look at Anfield, Old Trafford and The Etihad. No heavy handed stewarding there!! Good enough for them, good enough for all.

If, thirty-years ago you'd asked "which country is this"; - where cctv is everywhere, the authorities look through your rubbish, you're not allowed to use step-ladders, or stand up or look at someone at a football match, you'd have probably said Russia or some tinpot republic in South America - and snickered.

iam in Ninian 117 3rd row up on the end seat. NO ONE in the next block. So i was not getting in any 1's way at the Wolves game and was told to sit down. i asked why ?? answer was its an all seater ground !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

As this is common knowledge why hasnt anyone gone to the press surely tucker would love telling world we have gestapo for stewards!

One of the reasons why I moved to the Canton. I experienced this first hand since we moved to the new stadium, our promotion season was the last straw for me.

I've always said this and always will, there is no atmosphere because the club don't want one, the stewards are ordered to stop fans from just standing up next to the away fans, let alone singing next to them or even just looking over at them. If they want an atmosphere, they need to stop driving our fans away.

I disagree. The stewarding is far more draconian at CCS than anywhere else I've been to. Can anyone point to a more rigid system than this? I would be amazed to find one to be honest. Yet another needless curtailing of fan expression. Daft.

Next season I'm told head gestapo had asked the club to install a shooting range and several gas chambers under the ninian concourse for them who have a sing along or stand up during the game, the club told him they will only install one gas chamber as that's all they will need due to hardly anyone renewing there season tickets
