The dragon outside City Hall is NOTHING like it!!!

Some of you need to go to Specsavers if you really believe that line.

Personally the badge still looks like a beermat to me

Just a personal opinion but the yellow would be better than the red, the Chinese Dragon doesn't look f**k all like the one outside City Hall. Also I think the shield image makes it look like a beermat.

I can't believe the amount of people falling for this shit. One, it looks nothing like that Dragon, two, who had even realised there was a Dragon on city hall. The way people are banging on it's as if it was a well known popular statue.

Let's be honest Adam, hell would freeze over before you were a happy (so called) fan.

The Welsh dragon stands proud.
The dragon on the badge looks like it is skulking away in some subservient way, (maybe it is like those who are arguing it is good, just to appease the dictator?)

It is not a proper dragon on the badge, it is a weasel/ferret - maybe that is the representation of Tan that it is meant to be.

I agree that the dragon at City Hall is not the same as the one on the badge. It has been contrived to "fit" in with the history and culture of the city (but it doesn't). The dragon on the new crest looks like the ones you see on takeaway menus.

However, the club's name remains intact and the dominant feature is the BLUEBIRDS. In fact, the dragon looks like an afterthought!!

All-in-all more than happy with it.

still think I fireworks display should suffice for Tan tributes, the Chinese invented them. I'll set off one in the garden when Tan does the right thing and sacks Slade

So would the same people welcome the Kumar brothers or SH putting something on the badge from their origin..? Not a chance so why are they accepting one from the latest liar who owns the club..?

Anyone who suggests that its similar to the one outside City hall is a disgrace tbh

I agree with you but what choice was there? It is an improvement on the last one in my opinion.

To be honest, with the size of the badge you'll be lucky to make out anything but the BLUEBIRD.

as for having other culture's content, again I agree but look at the size of sponsors' names on kits. The Jaxx have a huge Chinese logo on their strip. Arsenal have Emirates (Arabic) and I'm sure you can find others.

What needs sorting out is the identity on the field. :bluescarf:

the only reason people are fine with it is because we've had to put up with the horrendous beer mat badge for 3 years.

its strange that we didnt just go back to the badge we had before, but tan couldn't just leave it at that. he had to have the last word. he is pathetic and his attitudes towards tradition go totally against values we hold in the UK.

I still don't understand the "beer mat" analogy.
Here are some beer mats at the link >>> https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=beer+ ... CAYQ_AUoAQ
If that's the case, then all clubs badges are like beer mats !

I understand what you mean now. Some thought, planning and skill has gone in to the beer mat designs. Shame the same cannot be said for Tan's tacky efforts.

Adam Brown moaning about Cardiff shocker. The badge has our bluebird prominent and Cardiff City across the top, but still not good enough. Looking for bites again.
