When I saw the new badge this morning, my initial thoughts were 'That's better!'.

The obvious thing to like is the bluebird being prominent, Cardiff City FC in bold and it is predominantly Blue.

It is not perfect but it is a whole lot better than the beer mat.

If I was to alter the badge for personal reasons I would get rid of the dragon and the shield but that is just me, I can live with the new badge quite easily.

Now if Vincent Tan had said two and a half years ago that he would invest £100m and turn his debt to equity and we would remain blue but today's badge is what he would like in return, would there have been anyone who would have challenged it?

I suspect that the vast majority would have accepted that change and that being the case, I believe that fans should support the changes today.

I still want the debt to equity swap to take place to make the club 'virtually debt free' then we can start again and concentrate on football matters alone.

I think we would all love debt to equity, I don't expect it anymore now the re brand is all but reversed.

And I can agree. Better to do it once everything is a little more stable financially and we're not digging ourselves a bigger hole

The tiny dragon is funny IMHO, but he seems to be trying to heal the wounds and judging by most of the responses it's another small half step to restore normality.

Judging by the average life of a badge at our club it'll be changed again by 2018
