" Next Season? "

Normally I would be on the phone as ASAP about renewing my season ticket but I don't feel that at all this season lost interest since Malky went think that between Tan,gutless players and Solskjaer the soul has been completely ripped out of the club. I will be renewing as usual but I just wanted to see other people's opinions on this on to next season

That's football. Crap seasons happen. We've had two in a row, but, with a bit of luck, we should avoid a second straight relegation. I've already renewed.

Waiting to the start of the season, probably a solitary protest, but i want slade out and money looks like the only thing that city management team listen to.

I expect Manga, marshall, Noone,Fabio,Maheda and hopefully morrison gone

I agree with you. We have also brought in some hungry young players with a better attitude but he needs to play them

I expect another 10 or 12 players leaving this Summer, with Manga, Fabio & Jones being just a few. I expect Russell Slade to probably still be at our club, but not sure in what capacity?

If hes still first team manager, then I don't expect much more improvements on the pitch than were witnessed yesterday,,, because in RS, it really is a case of "The more things change, the more they Stay the same".

One thing I can't see changing though is the same Bull Shit rhetoric, that Mr Slade has taken to new levels of unbelievability!

Re: Next season

the club changed the fabric of the club, now I believe you have to expect better.

I'd go to Ninian Park because I enjoyed going there. The CCS needs a good team to play in it otherwise it is pointless having a 35k stadium

Do I enjoy the football that we are watching? No its awful.

There is No atmosphere,No passion,No feeling or Soul at our club.

Here's the problem with our current 'Fan' base, if we aren't winning, top of the league or brilliantly entertaining...its moan, moan, I'm walking out early, i'm not renewing my season ticket, blah blah....grow some balls stop whingeing and support your team. Incidentally when you've watch this crap for 45 years you get the right to make this statement.

Be thankful for our 'current fan base' as a 35k stadium is about to look even more sparse if the team continue to disappoint . Also £30 tickets everyone is entitled to an opinion on the day out at the match :thumbright:

It's natural that the majority of fans want to watch entertaining winning football. The majority of our supporters can be classed as "plastics" as only around 5,000 of us will still be around if we ever end up in the bottom division again. I've witnessed it before when we went from crowds of 25,000 in the days of Scoular, right down to around 3,000 when we were struggling in Div 4. A true fan will be there whatever, while most will only turn up during the good times. That goes for the majority of clubs, and it's been like that for as long as I've watched football. I have always believed that this club has around 5,000 hardcore supporters who will hang around wherever we are, the rest will evaporate into thin air when the going gets really tough.

One thing is for sure, we need to look at ways to make the stadium smaller, to increase the atmosphers, our stadium is way to big for us, we need to close off at least half of the ground and compact what few fans we will have next season into areas that can create noise and atmosphere. Building a ground the size that we have for the size of club we are was crazy by any standards :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

I'm the other way around. After 40 years solid support. I walked away this season even though I have a season ticket.

Tan messing heavily with the playing side by employing a yes man ahead of Pulis was the last straw.

I don't want the team relegated but I would gladly return if we ever went further down the league system.

At least then you will only have people playing, owning, working or supporting the club that are there for the right reasons.

You're where I am at Wayne, undecided on renewing next season, that way I can afford to do away trips which are everything that our home games aren't. Passionate, atmospheric, soulful and great fun win or lose. :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

A lot of people are never pleased, we got our blue back we are only now dealing with stripping the mess that ogs left us in, we're not going to get relegated and while it's right we have changed the make up of the club we are also dealing with a premiership hangover. Ask Fulham Bolton Blackburn wolves Wigan where do I stop?? Who have all in recent years felt the pain of this. Derby is another massive example, Pompey, Reading!!! I could go on and on, it's football guys we have no unique right yet the severity of the moans and groans you swear we do. Try getting behind the team rather than constantly moaning about it. And if every fan who goes on about the atmosphere actually did something about it then the place would be rocking.

Get behind the young bluebirds as a lot of the players who are now part of the team do care and that is quite clear :bluescarf:

The fans must show the same passion that they showed in getting our team playing in blue again, they must show the same determination in getting rid of Slade, who in my 50 years of supporting this club is by far the worst manager I have seen, and trust me I have see a lot dross managers

Can understand your frustration. At least you will be one of the 5,000 I was talking about if we ever end up back in the basement.

Yes well none of those clubs had to suffer a rebrand.

This rebrand will take a generation to disappear so my advice to everyone is get use to the whinging, it what the club deserves.

Of course it could quite easily be dampened by returning success to the club but that is looking highly unlikely. So once again I say get use to it.

Of course

It makes it even harder with the rebrand thrown in to the mix but at least that has now been rectified. I have no doubt it's going to be a long road but I still stick by if we can do a Wolves instead of a Derby then success on the pitch will stop peopling moaning, as much as the hardcore can't appreciate that it's ultimately what will count.

Success will be the answer, its the only answer. Without it the bad feelings are going to hang around like a bad smell.

Personally I think what Tan is trying to do, transition the club, he is going about it in the wrong league. It is too much of a risk to do in the championship where in a league lower you can gamble a bit more specially for a club our size. I'm expecting us to struggle big time next season and I do fear relegation with loads more supporters leaving. I believe this is the reason Tan turned us back to blue.

I assume by doing a Wolves instead of a Derby, you mean drop another division to come back up to re establish ourselves in the Championship, instead of doing a Derby by getting a decent manager and getting promoted this season back to the PL :bluescarf:

It would be a major factor if we were playing or at least trying to play football.

I have watched some dross over the years but not as consistent and as repetitive as what we are seeing :ayatollah:

I agree the football is awful, since 1968 this is some of the worst rubbish I have seen, at least in the basement divisions we still found time to have a laugh and enjoy our day out. The match day experience and football is now complete and utter Dros :bluescarf:

No I mean putting a decent team together in a very short time, am not sure how good your memory but Derby made a mess of the premiership and were one of the worst teams to grace the prem. It has taken them a very long time to recover unlike Wolves who while are not competing with the top two have transformed the team in a few years.

Lately Southampton and Wolves, 2 clubs a bit bigger than us, have dropped down to league one where they rebuilt like what we are trying to do and have quickly returned. Derby have remained in the championship for about 7 seasons and have struggled but might get it right this season.

Personally I think Derby chose the wrong manager in Nigel Clough. He came from a lower league just like Slade.

I agree anyone would think that we have been brought up on champagne football and amazing atmospheres at City games. We have now reverted to type, and will have to work our way out of it, if you can't stomach it, go and find something else to do an a Saturday afternoon.
