He was ordinary and just did his job which was pass it sideways or backwards, 2 decent passes and 1 Jones was offside for.

Whitts had a very good game today & some of his cross field & long range passes were excellent.

Well he is long overdue a decent game for us, it was going to happen sooner or later. I know what will happen, he will have 3/4 good games out of 6/7 and then he will end up going back to his inconsistent and uninspiring best.

Ridiculous mate fair play. Whitts had a good game, he moved it well and puts us into good areas of the pitch, always on the hunt for the ball too. The number of times he went looking for the ball, received it, got his head up and then just absolute zero options in front of him was pathetic.

He was one of our best performers...... Jones doing Macheda's work is one for the scrap book

True mate. The front two were worst than Whitts but he gets the flak from the boo boys. But to cheer a opposition player more then your own player is something else. Something that makes me fall out of love with our fans and football in general.

It isnt about todays performance. The issue is the consistent bang average performances. And the defending of those performances. 'Ran the game' is amother word for being anonymous and doing nothing of note. Him and Gunnar will not get us promoted. The opposite only have to mark the wings as we have no threat through the middle.

I dont blame him, slade has picksd him when he is clearly down on form and also confidence.

He should have been given a break mid season but wasnt.

I'm a big Whitts fan but "superb" is going over the top. Yes his passing today was top notch and in that respect he was far and away the best player on the pitch but, in my opinion, it's difficult to describe anything to do with that low quality match today as "Superb"

I don't blame Whittingham I blame Slade, Whittingham does look for the ball but it's mostly in defensive areas or around half way.

Fair enough bang average in your opinion but who is going to come in and do a better job than Whitts is asked to do ? Ralls is a good prospect and will hopefully grow in to a player that will be in the first team for years to come BUT he isn't as good as Whitts in that role. All the best attributes Ralls has Whitts matches them and betters them.

I judt saw a lot of sideways shuffling today, nothing else.

So with 2 wingers we needed to get the ball to them and some of the passes to them with sympathy were sublime, only one pass went astray.

Too many including me are too entrenched in this debate to be fully objective.

The few boo's when his name was read out was exactly what i expect from our fan base nowadays

i think the footballs so bad , you remember a few good touches by a player and say, he had a good game, or he should have been man of the match, reality is the team are so bad, anyone with 10min sparkle can make us look ok. maybe ok is to stronger a word

Remember ex professionals usually talk banalities because they dislike criticising fellow sportsmen. Fans tell it how it is! Btw Jason Perry is the worst, he always goes overboard to praise other players. His opinion isnt up to much, just like Radio Wales sport. Have you ever tried listening to a match commentary?
