Pater Whittingham is hoping to make his 300th Cardiff League start.
Whittingham Cardiff's currently longest serving player, who joined City from Aston Villa in 2007.
Do you want Whitts to start v Charlton or Joe Ralls?

In the departure lounge at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam on a stop off home from Dubai, providing my flight isn't substantially delayed I'll be there, should I make it, I think it depends which whittingham turns up weather I would want him or ralls.
On another note, 300 appearances for a club is a phenomenal achievement these days. He is a city legend.

I think it has to be Ralls, the result at Rotherham must have given the team a boost. We can build on Tuesday night's result with another win against Charlton. To do that Whittingham must be on the bench. What are your thoughts Annis?

I would play both in a 3 man midfield with adeyemi and drop Gunnarsson to the bench .
With the players we've got out team suits a 4-5-1 imo

100% for Joe Ralls. For the last couple of seasons I have felt Whitts has gone missing more and more and is getting slower.
If we want to improve this team, nows the chance to give players like Ralls a run

And been slagged off by some for about 250 of them.
Well done Whitts, great achievement for CCFC, shame your qualities are often overlooked so people can blame you for everything that goes wrong.

TBH, you're not wrong here and I do worry that a "good 10 minute spell" versus Rotherham where we scored 3 goals against the initial run of play have given a false impression of where we are with or without Whitts
I am a Whitts fan and can see the value of him in the team, although I'd rather see him utilised in a 'free' role in the centre of a 4-man midfield
I salute Whitts for reaching the milestone (assuming he plays today) and also for sticking with us when many others would have moved on at the first opportunity
Whitts is (and has been) loyal to Cardiff City FC through and through

I don't believe Whitts has done enough to justify a starting place today, I would keep the same team but it's slades choice

Lets hope he stays on 299 for now!

Whitts fm has been a loyal and vital part of CCFC for years through thick and thin. It is true that his form had been more modest very recently, but can any team at this level do without his set piece prowess. He can still win games.
Does he start today? I don't know. Real dilemma but I wish him all the best for his landmark cap!!

Class so far. Mcaleny is doing well
Ralls and Whitts is quite a classy midfield. I doubt the Brazilians of the 70s could find a striker open with these two up front
