Kimbo doing well

Man of match against us and now 2 goals in 2 games.
Seems to be flourishing now he is not playing for a racist manager.

Its strange. Guerra doing good in a top spanish side, Alf doing better at Bolton, Eikrem new club hero at Malmo, Daehli MOM in the games he played in germany and a fans favorite, Kimbo doing very good for Malky. Reason mentioning these players is they made instant impact for their clubs after hardly playing football for a long time. Things are looking at the up for City, but you cant help think we could be better getting the best out of our players. Players like Noone, Whitts, Macheda have been shadows of their former selfs. Would be interesting to know why. Is it formations, instructions, positions, confidence, team spirit or atmosphere with the crowds. Havent seen any statements to why these players are suddenly picking up their game, but it is a strange one.

I think most of us thought Kim would do well given a chance in a position off the front.

He in no way fits a 4-4-2

It's the fact that he said that Kimbo is playing better now that "he is not playing for a racist manager"... Malky is the manager of Wigan...

His goal at Norwich was a peach! http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/s ... -0-1-wigan

Wasn't worth what we paid and no doubt the wages we gave him but better than wigan if used correctly. Slade wouldn't have a clue how to use someone like Kim.

I know that's what makes it odd as malky admitted sending dodgy txts! and malky was his previous manager? :laughing6:

One of the texts he sent was about Kimbo as well, shows that he's not as bad as he's made out to be if Kimbo is happy to play for him still :thumbright:

We should never have got rid of Kimbo, nor Guerra, nor Brayford, nor Burgstaller et al. The word lunacy springs to mind.

Nothing special about them, the only player I would've liked to have seen more of is Guerra but when he did play he didn't seem to care. I'm happy with who we have to be honest. We'll see how the rest of the season plays out with Slade's players.

No sorry totally agree. They were all a bit too special for this division. Theres other deadwood still here we could have got rid of. And moreover, Slade added insult to injury by bringing more dead wood in. Senseless!

We've actually had better results since Slade brought in his own players but any reason to slate Mr Slade eh?

Guerra not in squad last time I looked nor Daehli. Malmo would struggle against Ton Pentre. Kim is decent in the right position and team set up, but is he worth 25k plus a week?

Reduced wage bill by 13m and playing better... good result?

Just for the record I don't want him as our manager, but getting rid of those players was actually a good thing in my opinion.

Well I guess we cant agree on everything Jon, but as much as Id like to see him succeed, Im not sure Slade has the necessary ability.

Dæhi is out for a couple of weeks with a knee injury.
