I took a bit from a few diets to suit myself, the paleo being one and just kept it sensible with the odd treat.

Wow! Well done mate, you should be proud of that and I bet your family are! Cheers for the feedback. I started it today and just going to stick at it. Need to get more into the habit of preparing every meal and stop drinking fizzy crap.

Add a bit of exercise to your diet and the weight will fall off.
You don't need to do anything to strenuous, just a bit of walking everyday, that'll do the trick.

Cheers mate. Currently weightlifting as well. Mainly just want to clean up my diet cause all those chemicals and stuff cant be good for you at all. I'm getting on a bit now so need to start taking more care.

I was on the Atkins which is similar. Felt like complete turd after a week, then felt a bit better.

Noticed that I appreciated food a lot more, especially carbs. Had bran flakes one day after a month (ish) of zero carbs and it was the best thing I'd ever eaten. After a while basic things like an omelette taste so much better when you cut out sugar and carbs completely.

I just do cardio to make up for eating carbs now. I tried running when doing Atkins and I couldn't run to the end of the street, literally no energy. But after a while that stops.

I don't do weight lifting so I cant suggest a diet to do with that.

Nutribullets are decent though.

If you wana loose weight just get down your local boxing gym, a good clean diet and a few sessions a week the weight will fly off. No cardio like it! Push your limits

Currently on a Herbalife trial.

Shake for Breakfast.
Shake for Lunch.
Protein based meal at evening.

Snacks Oatcakes and fruit etc.

Tons of water ...

Been on it a few days, get my end evaluation tomorow.

Depending on what it says I may start a 2/4 week session.

I need to go on a diet but my major stumbling block is, I hate exercise, and love Stella washing down packets of crisps

Sunday was 18st 11lbs
Just had end evaluation done
And I'm 18st 6lbs.

That's 5lbs in 4 days.

Onviosly that can be attributed to the crash diet effect.
But my body fat mass is down whilst my muscle mass has pretty much stayed the same.

With the consumption of around 2/3 ltrs of water a day my hydration levels are much better.

I have committed to a 2 week plan on Herbalife at the cost of £55 which will give me my 2 shakes a day and all supliment pills.
But I have told my rep that I won't be willing to start it until the 22/3/15.

Prior to that I am doing my own diet

300mg Semiskimmed Milk blended with a banana and some fresh rasberries for breakfast,
Or a bowl of bran flakes with fruit.

Homemade soup for lunch.
Just Veggies Stock and Water.... Adds nothing in calories or fat but fills you up

Then a high protein based meal at evening chicken or fish etc.

Cut out snacks crisps etc and replace them with fruit and oatcakes.

Gavin that loss didn't consist of any additional exercise.

That plan I set out there alone will increase you levels of burning calories and reduce the amount your putting in.
Try it for a week and I promise you will see the difference.

You will get hungry at times so drink plenty of water... That's the key.

I usually play 5s on Thursdays but am having to cut it out due to a hip and knee issue.
Wife goes to a boot camp 3 times a week which is drills and running.
I am going to check it out tonight.

Herbalife is a load of bollocks, just a pyramid scheme
