Whitts Noone and Jones

Tue Mar 03, 2015 9:59 pm

We have all seen our favourites leave the club, will this victory give Slade the desire to experiment for next season leaving the establishment out for the remaining games.

Even though I have classed myself as a Whitts fan, football is a young mans game and we need to continually develop and nurture the next stars.......

I think out of the three Noone would be the one to make it back.
Noone is a winger, no matter how good they reply on confidence. This rest may do him the world of good.

Whitts I think it's time moved on, managers struggle to use him properly.

Jones an asset but wages are to big.

Malky's decisions speak for themselves........Andrew Taylor, Don Cowie, Peter Whittingham, Nicky Maynard, Mark Hudson in the Premiership ; we were doomed from the start*

Whitts is not the value for money he once was. Noone's twin brother is with us after his injury lay-off. Personally, I am more concerned by Noone than I am of Whitts.

Funny how fete sometimes deals you a hand.

For me those three missing last night was a godsend. All of them have been off for some time. Whitts can't even knock in a decent corner just now, Noone has lost all his spark and for all his goals Jones does nothing else and may just have been taking the place of younger players who could eventually do more for the team.

So in all I'm glad we won last night. I don't hold out too much hope that Slade will see it like me and many others have been doing for months now but maybe his new sidekick might.

Tiny bit of hope at last!

The tester will be on Saturday if whittingham comes straight back in. I hope the team is kept the same and to reward them with a chance. We've all been saying there's been a lack of pace and energy all season and the younger players showed that last night.

 I thought a strikers job was to score goals :?

Put it this way, I wouldn't like to see our points tally if we took Jones's goals out of the equation
