Cardiff City prepared to take Malky Mackay text scandal to FIFA as Vincent Tan reportedly sends fresh evidence to FA

Cardiff's billionaire owner Tan ready to go to the top, and also consider legal route, as FA probe continues.
Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan is ready to take the Malky Mackay text scandal to the very top by asking FIFA to investigate the matter if the Football Association don’t act strongly over new information presented to them by the Bluebirds.
Billionaire Tan is also considering asking for a legal judicial review, or going to the European Court for Sports Arbitration, if Mackay is not charged by the FA over the affair.
At Tan's behest, the Bluebirds have provided fresh information from two people to the FA investigators conducting the probe into the ex-Cardiff manager.
The club will not specify whether players, Cardiff officials or individuals from outside have come forward.
However, according to reports in the Daily Mail, the new information provided means the FA have extended their probe into Mackay.
The FA, who were hoping to complete their investigation this month, have reportedly delayed any verdict in light of the new information.
It is thought the FA will release a statement to explain the delay.
However, Tan has put Cardiff’s lawyers on alert to take the case forward themselves if necessary.
Mackay and former head of recruitment Iain Moody admitted to exchanging a number of messages during their time with the Bluebirds, the revelations emerging last August.
The Bluebirds hierarchy are not prepared to make any official statement while the FA inquiry continues.
But an impeccable source told us today: “The FA have left this for too much time...
"Cardiff City have the funds available to take this to a European court, FIFA or a judicial review.”
Mackay, manager of Wigan Athletic, is keen to draw a line under the controversy while he is leading the Championship club’s battle against relegation.

You don't know that and Tan's 'personal' take on the situation may ell see him fund it away from the club's finances
Certainly smacks of one bitter and determined individual (in Tan)

Notice the " NO DOUBT " in my post meaning thats where i think the bill will go the same as tan flying people over for a match from malaysia which currently goes on the clubs debt

So just so I got this right, we cut costs in the important parts of the club (players and coaching staff) but we have the money to pursue this with with a money no object approach purely because tan wants to chase down Mackay and Moody - both of which no longer impact Cardiff city.
Does anybody know what the point is?

Fair enough, but surely so long as Tan covers the costs in the end (as he will surely have to do with the club's debt itself
IF he is to leave with any credibility) then I wonder if we worry a little too much; alway remembering that Tan's financial world is a lot more secure than any of us can truly comprehend
