"Unleashing" the untamed poodle

Tue Mar 03, 2015 3:42 pm

From the BBC

The Bluebirds have scored only five goals in nine games and Slade wants his strikers to be more ruthless.

The 31-year-old joined Cardiff from The Millers in January and could relish an outing against them.

"Going back to his old club maybe that's the ideal time to unleash him," said Slade.

"It could let him show us what he's got because he's hurt me a time or two since since I got rid of him at Orient."

Slade was manager of Leyton Orient when Revell was sold to Rotherham in 2011, and the striker was his second signing after taking over from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Cardiff.

How Frightened are Rotherham going to be. Revell hardly looks like a PitBull about to be unleashed. More of a poodle?
