' LOOKING AFTER THE FANS '

Mon Mar 02, 2015 9:06 pm

Stoke City have announced they have price frozen their season tickets for their fans for the 8th season running.

By doing so Stoke have the cheapest season ticket in the Premier League, which is just £344

Last season Stoke also used their £200k money that the Premier a League Chiefs say must be used to better the away fans experience by providing free travel to all away games :thumbright: :thumbright:

I know City fans don't think highly of Stoke but to be fair they are certainly doing their bit to look after their fans.

City have lost any idea of looking after their fans this last year or two.

It will be reflected in ST renewals :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

3 Annis last season.

Norwich was subsidised travel.

Swansea was free travel.

Sunderland was subsidised ticket and travel for £25.

The season before Peterborough was subsidised travel.

Cheers Carl.

The rest of the money went to look after away fans coming to Cardiff City

Over £60k of the £200k was spent on the away fans coming to our place which included things like better signage and such.

Personally I feel the whole £200k should have been used for our fans travelling away.

Why spend money on away fans coming in?

Stoke spent all their money as far as I know on their own and I don't blame them. Stoke have very loyal followers partly because the club really tries to look after them. It's not just about ticket prices, but stewarding is very positive there and it's a very difficult ground to take points from.

We did get some scarves from Tan though a while back

I guess they think a good experience for the away fans means they are more likely to return and bring in extra income for us. Im not sure thats what the money is supposed to be used for.

Im still waiting for my refund on my hotel Peter Ridsdale promised us all many years ago :old:

The price is £294.00 if bought under the early bird offer making it less than £15.50 per game. Fantastic Price IMO.

They can fek off this season until at least August, its not as if we have to panic about keeping our seats :laughing6: There will be plenty empty around us  :bluescarf:
