Wolves fans and the 12 minute applause

A massive thank you must go out to the Wolves fans on Saturday for their respect and applause on 12 minutes.
Having been in the family stand with my 9 year old daughter she asked me why is everyone is clapping and why are the away fans clapping as well? It brought a lump to my throat and something I will have respect for the Wolves fans for a long time.
