i think we need a change of captain..

someone outfield that can get the heads back up...i dont think marshall can do this in goals....this is not a slur on marshall just an observation

Its probably a contract thing. I bet there is a captains bonus and we want to keep Marsh happy

In my opinion u don't need to have a strap around your arm to lead your team and be vocal. I really wouldn't worry about it.

Big Marshall fan but i have never been a fan of giving the armband to a keeper. They are generally too far away from the action to make an impact. If you have a really organised and experienced team i would agree that you can get away with having a keeper as captain but in our team which is a bit of a mixed bag i would say you need an outfield player - my vote would be Gunnarson, he's not a national captain nothing.

I think it has to be a center half or a center midfield player myself who says how it is out there, although i can see lee peltier getting it next season when marshall leaves at the end of this one

I played in goal for a long time had the armband myself and never say right with me done my best and very vocal but never felt i could influence the game or people around me as well in goal as I could when I played centre back

Yes. They're called a manager. You also have coaches. But on the pitch you shouldn't need someone to keep you going. Your 20k a week should do that. Everyone can be vocal
