Wez,I would rather him be straight and honest, but maybe he believes it,as he does not have a clue about football.

Forever Blue wrote:TAN IS RIGHT, AND WRONG, ABOUT CITY’S PLAY-OFF PROSPECTS
By Paul Abbandonato
Sunday 1st March 2015
“If we can go on a run it’s a possibility,” said Tan when asked about Cardiff’s play-off hopes in the closing weeks of the season.
He revealed he has even shaken on a bet with chairman Mehmet Dalman about promotion.
Dalman has no confidence about the Bluebirds reaching those play-offs. Thus he has agreed to streak naked across the pitch if Russell Slade takes Cardiff back into the Premier League.
Tan, on the other hand, reckons it can happen. If it doesn’t, Tan will take Dalman to a restaurant of his choice and foot the bill.
The two men are each right. If Cardiff go on a run, of course, they could yet make the play-offs. So Tan is correct in his maths.
However, where Dalman is right, and Tan wrong, is in the football reality of the situation.
Saturday’s loss to Wolves saw Cardiff dip down to 15th in the Championship table, 18 points off Norwich in sixth spot and with just 12 games of the season to go.
My view is that they have no hope whatsoever of getting there under Russell Slade in 2015, so the ‘run’ Tan talks of simply isn’t going to materialise.
I don’t want to be hostage to fortune here, but I might join Dalman on his streak if I’m proven wrong... provided I’m also invited to the restaurant where Tan will be paying for the meal, if I’m proven right!
On a more genuine note, I’m not totally convinced yet Cardiff should stop looking over their shoulders. Fortunately Millwall lost to Rotherham on Saturday and appear doomed with Blackpool and Wigan. But Cardiff aren’t winning enough matches, particularly at home, and can’t keep relying upon other teams dropping points.
Whatever, the smart money will be on them finishing closer to the bottom three than the top six.
