Ashamed of some of our fans

Sun Mar 01, 2015 1:30 pm

How some of our fans could act like nothing had happened yesterday and pose for selfies with tan is beyond me. Looking and some tweets and instagrams yesterday made me physically sick and the spinelessness of our supporters. No wonder we're a laughing stock with these people in the stands!

Totally agree. The man is so committed he hasn't even bothered to turn up for 9 months! I was appalled by the subservient, travelling attitude. A man who tried his best to obliterate our identity!

Thankfully a lot of our fans can move on, yes he made a mistake with rebrand but it has been reversed now. Vincent Tan has backed the managers to give us Premiership football, majority of our fans don't hold a grudge,

Let's be glad Tan isn't as stubborn as you or we would still be in red.

A reverse of the rebrand would be given us our badge back we had before the rebrand , we are going to have a badge "with elements of Tan's culture" not exactly a full reversal. I'm happy we are back in blue and Tan has seen sense that it makes good business sense that fans and club can move forward together now all wanting the same thing ,but I wont forget what Tan did with the rebrand it hurt alot and I wont ever forgive him for that . I wont boo him ever but I certainly wouldn't applaud him as to me he will always be the man who took our identity away

I'm not saying we need to get on his back and let him know he's a c**t, but why do we have to show him the adoration he is obviously craving? A football club we are, not some rich boys apprenticeship into the world of football. If he is a smart as he thinks he is then we would have firstly done market research into how much more money would be generated in the far east from the rebrand, secondly what the impact on our current fans would be and thirdly what the potential fallout could be if it went tits up.

End scene of the film American History X, very powerful words, life is too short and holding a grudge is just baggage

What's done is done, it should never have happened in the first place, but it's back to normal. Forgive and forget, we've got back what we wanted. You don't get nowhere in life by holding grudges, and as soon as the fans and the club/owner get back on the same side, the sooner we can move forward. At least the club are now trying to fix the mistake they made. I'm not one who took selfie's and shook Tan's hand, and I won't, but I wasn't going to boo the man yesterday who is finally wearing our rightful colour. So what if he only done it for his ego, he's got what he wanted, and we've got what we wanted.

What pisses me off is that fans who were all for 'Rather be blue in league 2' are now turning their backs as the football is shit. Yes it's shit, yes the management is shocking, and yes we're making cut backs, but that's football. You win some, you lose some. If you're only willing to pay money to see your team play well and win week in week out guaranteed, then supporting Cardiff isn't for you! I recommend supporting Chelsea or something  I've only been around for the good times as I'm not one of the old timers who had to endure all the shit, but f**k me, even I know to support your club through the good and the bad. Guarantee the ones who say they won't be renewing will be straight back if we go on a cup run or are competing again after this season.

Think the team would benefit from one thing from us and that is supporting the team to escape relegation, instead of continuing to fight and have a go at the club for everything :ayatollah:

The funny thing is by being in div 2 wearing blue would mean crap football as wont have good team all best players sold to pay off debt to tan? :laughing6:
