Very true.

I'm not sure we miss his footballing abilities but we definitely miss his shitty attitude. The whole team need someone to tell it as it is on the pitch. Captains are not there to be liked all the time and a little bit of fear can motivate nicely.

I am confirmed in the "Whitts is god" camp but we do need a neat, competent, tidy, genuine run beyond the striker central midfielder.
