Tans reception pre-match

Sat Feb 28, 2015 7:08 pm

It looked to me like Tan got a really good reception pre-match with most of the city fans in the Ninian and Canton stand clapping him and welcoming him warmly.
Everyone is entitled to do what they want but I personally will never clap him. We are talking about a man who took our club away from us for 3 years, spoilt our season in the premier league and hasn't seen us play in none months. I was astounded by how many people gave him a good reception today.
I will never truly respect him again and won't clap him for a long while. :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Halfway round. He couldn't go the full way before the game kicked off.

I can hardly bear to write it all out (again) James, in a nutshell I'm grateful for the huge investments and the way the has tidied up the club's finances (*puts in gumshield and awaits abuse*) before he came along we were in debt to every man and his dog, threats of winding up orders from various creditors and HMRC. At Least all our debt now lays with the owner.

Totally agree and u will forever be grateful for his investment, but he had the world at his feet and he threw it away. He didn't need to do that. I was 6/7 when be came in but I did know about all the debt. :ayatollah:

I accept i may be in a small minority but i couldn't believe he was walking around the pitch like some returning hero. FFS all he did was give back what was ours to start with and he stole it. I accept he put money in and can do what he wants but i for one wouldn't clap him. Rather catch my thumb in a car door thanks.

I agree with some of what your saying gav but before he come along we was 30 million in the red we are now 170 million :laughing6: honestly id have taken a points dock and drop a league with admin before he come in over the current state we are in off the pitch as it will only get worse or when he wants it back with APR on :bluescarf:

Totally agree. He shouldn't be seen as a hero because he returned what he stole. :bluescarf:

Totally agree. He's made a dire situation far far worse. Throw in the rebrand and it's a lesson in how not to run a club.

You all should have give as much shite as you could. All he is doing now is asset striping what he can, to get back as much money as he can IMO. At least you should be safe this season looking at the tables

There is likely to be a fire-sale in the summer I think. I will not clap him until he shows me signs that we can trust him again.
