Today he would have seen first hand the absolute shit standard of football we have had to put up with since the appointment of HIS personal choice as manager.
Aimless punting of the ball upfield, a complete lack of creativity, less possession of the football at home than the opposition, an unwillingness to tackle or put any pressure on the opposition when they have the ball, all carried out by a team of league 1 standard journeymen ( with the exception of Bruno Manga) , and managed by a clueless, out of his depth journeyman manager who cannot seem to motivate or cajole his team.
Well Vinnie, we've had to put up with that bollocks since YOU personally appointed this clown and set this club on the road to nowhere.
£174million spent and we are now in a significantly worse position than when you took over, both on and off the pitch.
Hope you enjoyed your ego boosting walk around the pitch before the game in your blue shirt.

I thought we played pretty well, just couldn't finish our chances.

Did you really think we played pretty well?
It's strange how we all see the same game differently isn't it?

It's all relative. We promised lots for the first 15 minutes, dropped back to the usual crap for 60 minutes then showed 15 minutes of desperation.
Compared to the last 12 games it looks much better than it was.

Yeah, I actually enjoyed, but disappointed to not leave with at least a point. We had 16 shots, I can't remember the last time we had that many, double the amount of them.

As far as people on this board is concerned could win 10 nil and still won't accept we played well!

If we manage to score more than one goal in any game left this season and actually win that game then I will accept that we are in fact the greatest team in football the world has ever seen.

We played well until they scored, against the run of play.
They sat back and we didn't really get going again until Whitts was sent off then played decent off, exceptional for a team a man down.
Problem in Jones, good player, great striker but he does not play in a 2. He's a lone striker and Doyle is a ghost.
It's tough for Slade because he wants to play 442, lacks a number ten even if he did want to change, but while he plays 442 and we're still in with a shout of being relegated he has to play our top scorer. Even though he (Jones) won't be here next season
