PARKING FINE OPPOSITE THE STADIUM !!

Parked my car in the Retail Park (by ASDA) the other week against Blackburn & they have sent me a parking fine for £60 for exceeding my maximum stay

I have appealed it because I did pop into Ladbrokes so trying my luck.

Hi mate ive had a few. Take them into casino say you where in there that day and they will sort it out no questions asked. And from now on just go into casino and type ur reg into the ipad and you wont get any. I do it every game now pop in av a pint to good crowd in there now

A number of us on here have had these tickets.

The general opinion is to ignore them. You will receive a number of follow up letters but eventually they will give up.

I think the true picture of this is that for them to take you to court they would have to prove you stayed there without using the local facilities that the car park was used built for. There is the problem for them to enforce your ticket. It simple would cost too much to prove.

I get one every game, dont get into anymore dialogue with them and ignore it.
To date I have 23 for the last 23 games, they just go away in the end.

Had two a couple of months ago for Saturday / Tuesday fixtures. Ignored the original £60 fines, then got two final notice £100 fines. Ignored these and have heard no more. Been about 4 months since these final notices. Hope this helps.

The road that runs between the stadium and the retail park has parking spaces at the back of ladbrokes and greggs
Does anybody know whether that comes under the retail park restrictions as there are normally parking spaces available
