Gunnarsons Goal

Great goal by gunnarson. But that is exactly the type of midfield play we miss and need, that is what whittingham is supposed to be doing and i thought he had the more attacking midfield role but he isnt capable of driving forward and scoring a goal like that.. i dont know how whitts has been playing last few games but we just lack that type of player who can drive forward and score a goal like that so much imo

When has Whitts ever driven forward and beaten player after player? Even when he was a winger he didn't do that.

He's calm on the ball. Can pick good passes, only real set piece taker we have and can find space when he hasn't got the ball.

Sorry but calm on the ball picking good passes isnt good enough in my book, that should be pretty standard and expected from a decent centre midfielder and thats all whitts got in his locker which aint good enough for a club who wants to get up to the premiership.
And f**k me plenty of people in the squad who can cross a ball from the corner flag not hard really for a proffesional footballer. He aint scored a free kick for months and months so again other players could do what hes been doing and could actually score.
