Totally embarrasing last night

Wed Feb 25, 2015 8:26 am

The love in for Malky by some of our fans was CRINGEWORTHY and totally embarising
Chants of do the ayatollah Malky and jumping and singing let's all do the Malky then fist pumping and to cap it all the good old don't sack McKay
What this did for our team and more so OUR manager god only knows
But more important what did it do for our opposition team and manager
Russell slade might not be the best manager we've had ,but he is OUR manager ,
Last night he was doing his best to win us a football match ,and he did not deserve to be humiliated ,the way he was
Wether you agree or not that Malky was racist is up to the individual (but Malky admitted it and has apologised )he is no longer anything to do with our club and it's time to put this whole sorry episode to bed
It's time our manager was given support
You only have to look at the smile on his face when he came over to us fans last night to appload us and we sang do the ayatollah Russell to know how much it meant to him
The game was nt really that good and once again some players under achieved last night but it doesn't matter WE WON
So let's give the manager and players some credit :bluescarf:

I respect Mackay's achievements with our club but despite having great experiences with him when meeting him I can't condone what he did. I don't think he is racist at all but what he did was childish, stupid, and offensive in the least. However, he's now Wigan manager. Last night I wouldn't have clapped him until after the final whistle and that's only if he's instigated it with an ayatollah or thumbs up.

I've woken up this morning delighted that we got three points against a team in the relegation zone. I haven't given one thought to Mackay until I came on here.

I agree, very embarrassing by our fans last night, must have been the younger element.
We should have give him hell and made it as uncomfortable as possible :ayatollah:

We have to be soft otherwise the club won't win their annual Family Club of the Year award!

Forget the fact that 95% of us couldn't give a rats about that and prefer the good old days when teams seriously didn't like coming to us.....no let's sit. not sing, play the opposition's songs at half time to make them feel welcome and generally make the stadium a boring library that the team can "thrive" off!

Utter bolux.

just trying to bring other oppinions to this board
imo its just cringeworthy the way some on here gloat about malky
who is defo in our past
loyal long term fans my arse ,
supporting an oppositions manager ,when playing against us ,
you could not make it up
and then they post about it like its some great event / achievement :bluescarf:
and yes I know he got us to the premier league (no small part played by tans money )and I thank him ,
but what did he do after that ??,and hes gone now
we have not won at wigan for 18 years ,but you would not know that on here
no credit for slade for that achievement :bluescarf:

I've had my doubts about slade but recent performances and the players he's brought in have changed my mind slightly we could be turning the corner ,if spade us backed in the summer I think we could do well next season

Appalled by what I heard

And our fans wonder why we struggle on the pitch away from home? And at home

If some put he effort into supporting Cardiff city FC like they do slating it then I for one would say we'd do far enter on the pitch

Lost the dressing room apparently has slade didn't look like that at the end of the match to me

he thing is we will be selling more and buying lesser on paper wez as thats the plan now people need to accept that we aint going to buy " ferraris " as slade has said that wont happen now. im all for the cost cutting if it gets tan gone in the end so be it.
As for the malky thing i couldnt give a shit about him hes gone and slades OUR manager now so as fans we have to back him otherwise the team will feel it to from the stands which only gets them playing worse imo
