Our stadium alone is worth 40 million ,think 40 million is totally under valued we are worth 80-100 million

Only problem wez while stadium is counted as an asset so has a price! But it cannot be sold so only paper money, will a prospective buyer like that and include it in price? 50/70 m is best can hope for realistically!

it depends who owed the free hold of the land and what covenant s were on it I would imagine that in London Fulham fc wouldnt own the free hold as most property are on leaseholds in Londonllan bluebird wrote:You can't compare Villa & Fulham. If Fulham went through that land on the Thames would fetch a lot of money. Villa Park is in a run down glorified industrial park.

I remember going a few years ago the area is a dump but villa has a huge fan base still be a good investment for someoneDouble G wrote:I went up to watch them on weekend. Me and Jesse went up Wez.
They are deep in it. Terrible side, Stoke was far better side, looked organised where Villa was a shambles. The area is also a pit, worse than Bridgend. Graffiti everywhere. Speaking to fans there, They said then that Lerner wants out, no investment and was preying Sherwood would turn them around but couldn't see it.
Good atmosphere in the Holte end, Stoke fans caused a lot of trouble in town and actually invaded the pitch when the last min penalty went in but match of the day didn't show that

But most stadiums are held on a similar lease for the land normally with the local council , the stadium can be sold to a third party but the covenant is that the land has to be used for a leisure use not just a football stadium ! ,if you bought any other club including the likes of qpr ,Brentford and you wanted to build a new ground you wouldn't get much change off 50 million for people to say we are only worth 40 million would be wrong ,villa has a decent stadium and would be a good buy due to the premiership parachute payments and size of the stadium and fan base even if they went down ,he will get a buyer for 150.easily I think Allen

yes he would get 150m if stay in premier thats why dont think will happen before then! as for us understand your point about stadium but putting everything together dont think we are worth more than 70m but never know it would depend on what state we are in when or if tan sells club, tans problem is the ammount hes put in and what he expects or wants back at the time he sells, he has a big delema next season does he continue running club with minimal costs no chance of promotion or have another push with such a big carrott (100m) at end of season

Our ground doesn't come into it.
The asset is only the land the ground is built on.

Annis, could you not recommend someone close to home who might be interested in owning a traditional club with world renowned colours (the claret and blue) before turning them into a 'lucky red' team??![]()
Just a thought, as I believe you may have the perfect person in mind...![]()
