He will be one of the only managers to work under tan and why he's here, if he's still here next season it will be to cost cut more I think and get lesser players on paper in.

True this is why I've been banging on relentlessly about expectation and learning to deal with the fact we are going back to livijg within our means for the first time since well ........ Can anyone tell me always been in debt and of we can do that and remain in this division whilst building the club from top to bottom philosophy wise then it will be a big achievement and a means to an end as in tan eventually leaving us but with little or no debt and a self sustainable club
I'll quite happily watch championship football for 30 years of t means our club survives and not only survives but eventually prospers from being run properly and not throwing money at a promotion cos it doesn't work long term

Good post. The thing is like slade said " the ferrari days are over " and the cost cutting so far is just a start, but fans expect the same a better profile manager who imo wouldn't work under tans final say. It was even stated by the Dundee manager he turned us down because he didn't have the final say. If that don't tell fans what slade is up against nothing will.
He took the job so will become the fall guy I suppose even if his hands are tied.

I think the final say is referring to the transfer committee that some clubs ( including ours) are using. The same reason Mark Warburton is leaving Brentford at the end of the season.
