Slade says we are on the up and the last few results have been better to previous also Wigan are dire rite now so we should win tonight

The old 'must win' phrase is thrown about alot for many different reasons over the course of a season.

You are spot on today though Ian, the last couple of games could be classed as us turning a corner (albeit very slowly) defeat tonight would be a dire, a draw disappointing.

I really don't wanna hear Slade clutching at straws of positivity his post match interview tonight.

If we don't win tonight I cant see too many games they'll come from.

We need to attack though

Those people on here who are saying a must win game,will be the same people saying "we would have settled for a draw at the start of the game "

Definitely not a must win for us. A win would be good, but an away point is always useful for a club in our current league position. I think it's more a must win game for Wigan than us.

They wont get many better chances for 3 points! If they lose this its looking very bleak for them! If we lose were still looking very capable of avoiding relegation. They need it far more than us! If we can score first we might just get their heads down enough to beat them!

Unless Wigan win tonight, I think they will be more or less gone. That would leave about 9 teams including us fighting to avoid the final relegation spot. If Wigan win tonight, they will have a glimmer of hope, but ultimately I think they will still be relegated. I think there are a couple of teams who are more likely to fill that final relegation place than us, and I honestly believe we have just enough quality to stay in this division.
