PREMIER GREED

Mon Feb 23, 2015 5:59 am

Money goes to Money is the phrase.

The most recent TV deals will see the clubs in the Premiership recoup even more TV generated income.
Some sides have now come out and put pressure on the richer clubs to lower prices.

IT WILL NEVER WORK!!!

Prices in Germany are very cheap and the product is excellent,
But this isn't Germany.
Could you see the likes of Arsenal and Man city dropping Season Ticket Prices to a level where the Lower league Teams would be on a similar par?
(Figures all hypothetical)
Imagine Man City dropped their season tickets to like £150\£200 and a Fan of some local side in League 2 is paying the same?
We all know how fickle a fan can be and we all know how plastic some fickle fans are.

Just my opinion, but I think the prices will be more likely to increases rather than decrease.

German football is excellent value, fans treated as fans and not a 'customer.'

If Bayern Munich weren't so powerful, it would be the best league in the world to watch too!

I can see no reason why the clubs need to charge anything over £20 with all their income streams :bluescarf: :bluescarf:
