Anyone remember that old wigan ground

Anyone remember going away on a cold winters day, with freezing driving rain blowing through that old Wigan ground with the big grassy bank at one end. In the early 80's sometime?

I remember our driver turned up at the rugby league ground by mistake and asking directions to the football ground - what a shit hole it was too !!!

In the day's when they only had a few brave souls watching - somethings don't change then !!!
