Tuesday could be a joke?

Sun Feb 22, 2015 9:03 am

Did you see Wigan rugby leagues game against some ausssie side last night. The pitch was like the it was ready for ploughing, it was horrendous just for RL game.

Slade's long ball tactics might pay off for once! :D

STILL SACK THE USELESS PRUNE THOUGH! :old:

No excuse why a club cannot provide a decent playing pitch.

Blackpool and Wigan, both clubs recently in the premier with the payments and they can't look after their pitches. Should not be allowed in the top divisions.

like a cabbage patch, they'll have to get some big rollers out to sort that out for playing on Tuesday, and with the forecast heavens opening in the next 18 hours up there.

RL game was interesting though, the committment was brilliant - could teach some professional footballers a thing or three!

Expect a long ball extravaganza after seeing the state of that pitch. No way could a team play a controlled passing game even if they wanted to .

Fill the team with fighters and workers for Tuesday.

Do we keep Whitts for his set pieces ? Don't know.
IMHO play Ralls instead out wide and get Adeyemi in in the middle.

Good point. Maybe Whitts on the left, Rall and Gunnar in the middle with Adeyemi on the right

Whitts hit yet another corner, one of our few chances, into the side netting yet again on Saturday.

Unbeaten in 4, only 2 goals conceded in those 4 games, our form starting to improve and you are still wanting Slade sacked! Unbelievable!

If the Brighton game was anything to go by expect a memory foam pillow fight.
