The times of Mccormack and Chopra and having a top champipnship scorer are gone for the moment.
Doyle, le fondre, jones, mason etc have no chance of being near the top with our current set up.
Which is why le fondre got criticism. He was never going to score when our team doesnt play for him. too many crosses. No threat through the middle as our midfield is about as average as it gets. We see literally no through balls anymore in the middle, which is what doyle needs.

Exactly we have no one through our middle to try take on the opposition leading to passing back or sideways
I see aload of le fondre threads saying he's scored etc

He's probably getting decent service from his midfielders
