Chelsea say three supporters have been identified and have been suspended, pending further investigation.
Chelsea have suspended three supporters as part of the club's investigation into a racist incident on the Paris Métro.
A black commuter was pushed back by what appeared to be a group of fans travelling to the Parc des Princes for the Champions League match against Paris St Germain on Tuesday evening.
A chant of "We're racist and that's the way we like it" from the Chelsea fans was clearly audible on a video of the incident.

Blown totally out of proportion imo. It wasn't right but to have it as the headline news first report and all over skysports breaking news, papers etc is way over the top. It's the days of social media, camera phones etc that brings it more to the forefront.

This^ way over the top coverage. Ban them and be done with it. They stopped a man from boarding a train and sang a song. Compared to the amount of crap going on in the world at the moment, this incident doesn't even warrant a paragraph in the paper. They are a bunch of idiots, nothing more

What do you expect from our Liberal media, if it had been a white person being taunted by Muslims for example, it would not have got anywhere near the publicity

If a group of blacks stopped a white man boarding a train, nothing would be said cos no-one would give a f**k. Blown well out of propotion!

I'm surprised some kunt hasn't started up a campaign on Facebook to raise money for him lol if I was that fella, I'd just want the media to shut the fuk up about it. I'd feel embarrassed with all the media attention, and I certainly wouldn't be happy with the tw*t who filmed it and put it all over YouTube . fair enough if I'd had my head kicked in, but for a nothing incident like that, I'd forget about in five minutes

What a fuss their making . Yes they were out of order but c, mon anybody think they had murdered him. The train was overloaded as it was and he still tried to cram on it . All of these MPs and Cameron tut tutting, trying to make out how caring they are. Them and the newspapers couldn't give a f**k about him. He will be invited to Stamford Bridge and giving a minutes applause next.

He's already been invited ffs

the over exaggerated outrage in the media and on the internet when anything like this happens is cringeworthy, to the point of embarrassing. Anyone with half a brain would have given that train a swerve, but he was the only idiot who tried to get on there. A Non story turned into an outrageous act of barbarity because he was black and it involved white football fans. There wouldn't be a word about it if he was white and they were black

While I agree it's totally out of order. What you just said was the first thing I said. Hmmm

Talk about making a mountain out of a mole hill. Lets hope the media put as much energy in tracking down and identifying black youths that attack white males…somehow I doubt it though

Muslim gangs still raping young girls in Rotherham as we speak. The government or police don't give a f**k but do about this non event in Paris.

It is not a nice event, and as I have previously said racism is just un-intelligent.
But I struggle to see how Chelsea FC have any responsibility for this. A bunch of people commit a crime whilst on their way to watch a sporting spectacle.
It would be like a theatre goer committing a crime while travelling to watch a play.
I understand why Chelsea FC are getting involved, and agree with their actions, their concern is branding and this guy taking action against them.
