OT Batman/Ben Affleck

At the time of the announcement that Ben Would be cast as the Billionaire vigilante, many questioned the decision by the studio bosses and the ability of the actor to take the role seriously enough coming off Oscar glory with Argo.

Judging by the transformation the actor has gone through, I'd say he's taking it pretty seriously.

He's actually a huge Batman enthusiast.
The main reason why he took the role of Daredevil is because Joel Schumacher was destroying the franchise so it's the closest he'd get to being a Batman-esque super hero.

I don't mind Ben Affleck but not 100% confident he will work as Batman. Will gladly be proved wrong though.

For DC this is a Hedge your Bets movie.
The entire DCMU future plans will be up in the air if this movie flops.
It's no wonder they moved the movie date.

The reason why I think the film is doomed is because people won't be able to help compare it to the recent trilogy and I honestly can't see it coming anywhere close.

Critics and fans of the franchise won't be comparing it to the Nolan Trilogy.

Whilst I really like the first two ventures of Nolans Batman the Third was utter gash.
Cast was excellent but there were just two many wrongs in it.

Batman was driven by the death of his parents.
He doesn't take an 8 year sabbatical to mourn the loss of Rachel Dawes.
The Third movie would've and could've been so much different and better had Ledger not passed away.

Back to Justice League ventures though...

Don't see many comparing them.
