I hope that they still keep Scott in the set up in the academy or back room staff the club needs local people in the set up

I know it's only one game

But makes you wonder if slade had a good assistant next to him we could be up the table

Didn't go last night due to illness but what I've seen looked like we played well (for a change)

"I love you Russy Baby " & " Let me shine your head later sexy " were the words rumoured to be overheard

I'm not saying U rate Slade, but from day one,Slade should of had a good coach by his side and once again Tan failed it what was really needed,Tan insisted on Young and Gabbidon

If Scott Young is no good for the first team then he is no good at any level within the club.

He will be putting out poor coaching and teaching bad habits that will remain with the players for years to come.

The same style of coaching is required through all age groups. The transition through the levels is seamless.

WHY ?

when we scored, why didnt Trollope whisper in his ear,

"Lets tie the game down, take off Kenwynne (or Noone) and put on Ralls to fill the midfield" ?

No....3 minutes later Kadeem was stripped ready to come on...and they scored.

How can you say that ?

Most times when you sit back you invite them on and most games they do score .
I seen the goal, if noone just kicked the ball away would of got the 3points
And kadeem didn't come on lol

There were 4 minutes left on the clock.
We haven't won a game for weeks.

We still had 4 forwards on the pitch ...FOUR ...Jones, Ravell, Kennedy and Noone.

All we were going to do was put the ball up front, no body was going to break sweat getting in their box. Why keep both strikers on the pitch.

Fresh legs in midfield may have stopped us losing possession which led to them getting in our box for their goal. Noone was nackered and made the wrong decision To clear the ball. A more defensive person would have hoofed it.

If Malone hadn't been injured Kadeem would have come on. LOL

9 out of 10 managers would have taken a striker off. They would have also played the clock down.

good points, the points were up for grabs, why wasn't any time wasting tactics employed...no cramps or nothing to slow the game down. The players and Slade just aren't as smart as there rivals

Scott Young right where he should be - a long way away from the pitch.

Was Slade consulted about the appointment of Trollope?

Short memory. We employed that tactic against Sunderland last year under the caretaker, bringing on Gunnarson for a forward. All it did was give us no one up front to hold the ball or offer an attacking threat and gifted them the possession to keep attacking us.

on that argument why not stick on another striker ?? :) !

anyway - I still don't know what Craig Noone was trying to do...not sure he did either.
